What They're Saying!

I once read somewhere that people don't come to Sanibel for the fine dining. And it's sad but true. No one meal has ever blown me away. But the Sanibel Fish House was my favorite restaurant thus far. I had the crab legs and my husband had the mahi mahi. Both meals were delicious. The highlight was the entertainment - Jimmy. I'm not usually a fan of singers/bands while I'm trying to eat. They are usually so loud and you can't enjoy dinner conversation. But Jimmy was a delight. He played soft, upbeat music. Plus, he'd add a story or two in between. I would recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back.

Could not wait to write this review. When I walked into the restaurant (this was my first visit) I was reluctant on where to sit because I was solo. I chose the restaurant portion and I'm sure glad I did the entertainment was awesome!!!! I ordered two appetizers the hot crab dip and the royal red shrimp cocktail. Both were very good and if you've never had a royal red shrimp they are a delicacy and they taste like lobster. A gentleman was playing island type music and it blended very well with the atmosphere. As I started to pay more attention to the music I realized how diverse this gentleman Jimmy G really is . He is a master at the steel drum and is truly a one-man band. The volume was perfect! I definitely will be back especially for the music and the two for one rumrunners all day every day.

We chose Cip's from good reviews and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is in a good location in Sanibel and had a nice atmosphere. The night we were there, they had a guy playing the steel drum and singing and he was very good. Not too loud but it was a great addition to the atmosphere. We were seated immediately and were pleasantly surprised that there was no wait even though we had no reservation. We were greeted immediately by our server who took our drink orders.............

Great Food & Atmosphere

We visited Zoggs first with Eating Rehobeth and it was so good that we went back for dinner the next three (3) nights. Steel drum music is a plus. Very nice & friendly wait staff.

Great for the family

We were a little apprehensive from the street to enter an alley bar but the kids loved the live music at the deck. The service was great and the food very good. I did get the grouper fish taco.
